Simple Present Tense- The present tense tells about the current or the existing situation. Some examples are ‘I do’, ‘they do’ etc. The other tense is the present continuous and an example is ‘she is going’ or ‘they are going’.English Grammar Tenses

|
Remember it Simple Present Tense-
- he, she, it, “s” or “es” is used with the main verb with the subject is third-person singular.
- example: He goes to school by bus. – wrong
- He goes to school by bus – correct
- When the subject is third-person singular, then "Does" is used, that is, he and she, "do" is used for all subjects.
- example: When do you get up? – wrong
- When do you get up? – correct
